Originally discovered in the 1960s for use in microelectronics and golf, BMG exhibits glass-like properties such as amorphism and hardness when cooled rapidly. This new Royal Oak “Jumbo” Ultra-Thin is powered by the Calibre 7121, a 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) automatic movement introduced in 2022 to replace the Calibre 2121 that has powered the “Jumbo” since 1972.
